Shiksha Nerd started in 2021 with a simple frustration: most "free" college counselling in India is really lead-selling. Students were being pushed toward whichever college paid the highest commission, regardless of fit. We decided to do the opposite — give students the honest advice we wished we'd had.
Since then we've grown into one of India's most-followed education communities, guiding 60,000+ students and building a YouTube channel with 1.3 lakh+ subscribers who come to us for honest college reviews, placement data, and admission strategy that nobody else shares openly.
What we do
We provide free, personalised admission counselling for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs across India — including MBA, PGDM, BBA, B.Com, B.Tech/CSE, law, design and more. In a single conversation, a counsellor reviews your profile, budget and goals, and gives you a shortlist of colleges that genuinely fit, along with the real pros and cons of each. We also help with entrance strategy (CAT, CUET, NEET, JEE and others), profile building, GD/PI preparation, scholarships and fee planning, and study-abroad options.
